Hello, I am Dr. Carlos Jesús Barrera Alonzo, specialist in Pediatrics and Pediatric Critical Medicine at the Federico Gómez Children's Hospital of Mexico. In 2022 I completed a high specialty in Cardiovascular Critical Medicine at that institution and I am currently working in the area of ​​Neonatal Intensive Care of the National Institute of Pediatrics, and in surgical therapy at the Children's Hospital of Mexico, so children with heart diseases who have undergone surgery or before surgery are one of my passions. Likewise, being in intensive care, I decided to train as a thanatologist, both to learn how to live with the grief and losses of my patients, and how to help their families in this difficult process such as having a child with a serious illness.
