The ability to positively influence the lives of those who put their trust in us as physicians is the main reason to practice medicine, from my perspective. The fascinating thing about human performance, knowledge and the possibilities of modifying various aspects of human biology are also very interesting elements that could prevent the development of disease and improve who have already developed diseases.
