Elegí ser médico porque siempre he encontrado un gran sentido en poder acompañar a las personas en diferentes momentos de sus vidas. Para mí, la medicina va mucho más allá de diagnosticar una enfermedad o tratar un síntoma. Se trata de escuchar, conversar, conocer a la persona que tengo frente a mí y ayudarla a tomar decisiones que le permitan cuidar mejor de su salud.

Lo que más me gusta de ser médico es conversar con mis pacientes y poder ayudarlos. Me gusta escuchar lo que les preocupa, responder sus preguntas, entender qué es importante para ellos y conocer su historia. Quiero que mis pacientes sepan que cuentan con alguien que los escucha, que conoce su situación y que realmente se interesa por su bienestar.

Como médico general, quiero ser parte de la vida de mis pacientes y acompañarlos en su camino hacia una mejor salud, pero también en el mantenimiento de ese bienestar a lo largo del tiempo. Mi intención no es atender solamente cuando aparece una enfermedad, sino también ayudar a prevenir, dar seguimiento y tomar decisiones de salud de manera oportuna.

Ofrezco consultas de medicina general, telemedicina y visitas a domicilio, atención de enfermedades agudas y crónicas, prevención y seguimiento, exámenes físicos, recetas, revisión y coordinación de laboratorios, referencias a especialistas y dictámenes médicos.

También quiero facilitar el acceso a la atención médica para todas las personas que viven en Costa Rica. Esto incluye tanto a costarricenses como a extranjeros e inmigrantes que pueden necesitar orientación para entender y desenvolverse dentro del sistema de salud de nuestro país. Atiendo completamente en español o inglés, procurando que cada paciente se sienta escuchado, comprendido y bien acompañado.

I became a physician because I have always found a deep sense of purpose in being able to accompany people through different moments in their lives. To me, medicine is about much more than diagnosing an illness or treating a symptom. It is about listening, having a real conversation, getting to know the person in front of me, and helping them make decisions that allow them to take better care of their health.

What I love most about being a physician is talking with my patients and being able to help them. I enjoy listening to their concerns, answering their questions, understanding what matters to them, and getting to know their story. I want my patients to know they have someone who listens, knows their situation, and genuinely cares about their wellbeing.

As a general physician, I want to be part of my patients’ lives and accompany them on their journey toward better health, as well as in maintaining that wellbeing over time. My goal is not simply to be there when an illness appears, but also to help prevent problems, provide ongoing follow-up, and support timely healthcare decisions.

I offer general medical consultations, telemedicine and house calls, acute and chronic disease care, preventive care and follow-up, physical examinations, prescriptions, laboratory review and coordination, specialist referrals, and medical certificates.

I also want to make healthcare more accessible to everyone living in Costa Rica. This includes both Costa Ricans and foreigners or immigrants who may need guidance understanding and navigating our healthcare system. I provide care entirely in English or Spanish, with the goal of making every patient feel heard, understood, and genuinely cared for.
